Welcome to the Office of Campus Ministry for Columbus Catholic High School. The CVCS Board has made a strong commitment to a clear Catholic identity and consistent
pastoral presence at Columbus by hiring a full-time campus minister. The goal of Campus Ministry is to work closely with students, parents, and staff in the formation
of young men and women in the image of Christ through prayer, study, and service.
The Office of Campus Ministry also works to maintain a strong connection with the Catholic parishes of Waterloo and Cedar Falls.
This year’s theme comes from the letter of St. Paul to the Romans; “We, though many, are one body in Christ.” Paul, the great evangelist, stressed the need for unity
in the early church. He understood that our unity lies in our baptism and is strengthened in the Eucharist. Paul stressed that unity was essential for any Christian
community to work effectively for the kingdom of God. The same is true for the Christian community at Columbus High – we, though many, are one body, in Christ -- and united we sail!
Please take the time to explore the different opportunities on this website.
Please feel free to contact us at anytime with concerns, to inquire about events or to give us your suggestions. It is a privilege to be able to serve the students and families of the Columbus
community. May God abundantly bless each student, parent, and faculty member at Columbus Catholic High School. The Campus Ministry Office is normally open during school hours.
Please feel free to contact a board member with any questions.
